Kelantan FA 1 - Arbil FC 1 (A Lesson Learnt)

Last Tuesday night, 25th Sept I spent my time watching my favourite football team - Kelantan versus Arbil FC from Iraq. I planned to rest for a while from my daily activity.

It was a fair game. I think Kelantan controlled the game but the lady luck was not with us that night. We had few good chances, but were not able to find the net. Kelantan were trailing behind after Arbil managed to score first. We were down with 1 goal & the clock kept ticking until the 90th minute.

Since 2007, Kelantan has never lose at home. I was thinking of the great record will be broken that night by a club from Iraq (Arbil FC was the semi-finalist team in AFC competition last year). However, my expectation was wrong.

Kelantan knew they were behind. They kept trying & trying. With 1 goal behind, they kept building up play. From 70th minute, to 80th minute until 90th minute... and finally in the injury time, they were back on level term. Thanks to Mohammad Ghaddar the striker. Thanks to all the 11 players. They showed that they are the true warriors. Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV is our fotress.

In life, there will be up & down.
It goes the same with me as an Insurance Agent. There will be time when it is UP, & there will be time when it is DOWN. So far, regardless of whatever happened, I showed the spirit of no retreat, no surrender...

I do believe, in whatever we do, the same spirit should always be with us!
