I can still remember, somewhere in year 2006, i just finished doing my site works in one of Putrajaya Buildings-Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan & Koperasi. The job required me to visit each floor by staircase for observation purpose. It was more than 15 level(if not mistaken) of using emergency staircase. It was very challenging & tiring.
I was thirsty right after job completion, then I decided to buy one take away Ice Tea drink (hand made). After received my order, the person who was washing dishes, stopped his work & entertained me by making the said Tea. I finished the tea, did my prayer & later drove home.
After 10m of driving, I could feel something was not right. I started to feel dizzy. I felt the pain in my stomach. My vision started to blur & hand started shaking. I could not hold the steering accurately, but manage to drive the car slowly & carefully. I felt the bitterness from my stomach up to my tongue.
Whatever it was, I pushed myself & drove the car as far as I could. Right after exiting Kerinchi Link Highway and moving towards Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, then I could not control myself anymore. I pulled my car over at the Caltex Petrol Station TTDI on my left, open the car door & straight away vomitted few times there. 30minutes later, my wife arrive & brought me straight to nearby clinic in Kota Damansara. The Doctor recommended me to go to G Hospital located in Northern area of Kuala Lumpur immediately for further investigation (he thought my case was quite serious, suspected due to critical food poisoning).
We reached the hospital after 20minutes drive. I lost lots of energy, could not walk & could not properly see. Nobody entertained us except my wife. Once we registered & entered the waiting room, there were too many patients waiting to see the same doctor. Oh my God...
After few different test done by few different specialist, they still could not decide what was the reason. I had no more energy at that moment, due to bad dehydration. I requested to be warded, for some rest but end up with no result. After few times discussions among the Hospital personnel, finally I was warded.
The hospital pump in water into my body as I exhaustedly laid on the ward bed. I could not open my eyes, too tired, no energy, dizziness attacked me, could not hear my wife calling me at a time, etc. ... I just wanted to lay down & rest...
After 30minutes (my guess), suddenly one Doctor/Medical Officer came to my bed & test my pulse. With no friendly greeting, he told me;
"Mr, your case is nothing serious, you may go & rest at home..."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ikhwan: I asked my wife the next day which class of ward & how many warded patient that night. The answers were "Class 3" & "all beds were actually vacant". The conclusion is, that will be the first & the last for me to deal with "that G Hospital" (unless it become a compulsory/necessary situation to deal with them again in future)... I hope that other G Hospital practice is much better, & hopefully my case was considered as an isolated one.
